Anyone had a new Thermador icemaker just QUIT??

My FD built in's icemaker QUIT. No notice!! It has only been installed since late July. MIL left the freezer drawer cracked, and could not hear the "alarm", and the temp was 53F when I found it. The icemaker made about 1/2 of a bin over the next few days, then just stopped.

I havea call in to service, but has anyone else had this problem?

They use a light beam sensor to measure how much ice is in the bucket. You may just have frost covering the beam emitter or reciever.
remove the ice bucket and check under the ickemaker for frost.
