My Bosch benchmark ovens (a regular oven, side swing, and a 220v speed oven) have been hooked up for less than a week. There is a bit of a learning curve - both for cooking (e.g. when to use convection) and figuring out how to use the actual appliances. But I like the soft ring noise they make for alarms, I find my oven heats well and my one experience with baking yielded nice evenly browned chocolate chip cookies. We worried that the conventional door of the speed oven, mounted just above the side-swing oven, would look odd. But its fine.

Noise is often something discussed with ovens. There certainly is sound associated with the fans of both ovens. I do not know how to measure the sound (unless there is an iphone app - and if so pls let me know) - but I can say that I do not find it annoying.

This seems silly to say, but there are two little things I love. As the oven preheats, the screen shows a red bar that moves from left to right. Its like you are downloading software or something - and I like it. Its useful information delivered in a subtle way. The other thing is the oven light. Its bright, and when you turn it off, it slowly fades. Little things, but they make me happy.
