recommendations for electric range

I just purchased a new KitchenAid free standing electric range. The outside surfaces of the range get hot enough to severely burn skin when the oven is in normal use. I am seeking recommendations on any free standing electric ranges that do not get so very hot on the outside surfaces when the oven is in use. I am finding that new ranges I have researched seem to have this same issue but are within UL standards. My 10 year old Kenmore electric range did not get too hot on the outside surfaces during normal use, just warm to the touch.
