I have a circa 1999 Whirlpool Super 465 30" free-standing gas range that I would like to replace with a modern stainless steel range. I am having a hard time finding the burner configuration it had. The smallest burner on the Whirlpool is 6,500 BTU and the largest is 12,500 BTU. Nowadays, most ranges seem to come with a 5000 BTU simmer burner which is too under-powered for my needs. I would like 4 burners that match (or exceed, after all, I can always turn the burner down!) what my Whirlpool has. Double ovens would be nice but a single oven would be fine too.
