Yes. Heating anything that fits in my small MW is often faster on my induction. In the case of solid foods, texture is better, too.

I used to use my toaster oven for reheating, but lately I've used a covered non-stick skillet on the cooktop. Great results and fast. I read about this technique on chowhound for reheating pizza and you get nice, crisp crust.

Alex- haven't tried induction pizza interesting. Might be hard to compete with my speed oven but interesting idea.

Usually I have it on low, so not as fast, because I'm running around doing other things. I've learned to be careful with the settings if I'm not right there.

I don't have a speed oven to pit it against. If I ever get to redo a kitchen, that appliance is on my list!

SJ, did you see the pressure cooker/induction tip site I linked to in that other thread? Much less fiddling if you come to pressure on 7 then lower to 4, although I still do it gradually because I'm weird like that. I got down to 3.5 for the hour long cheesecake I made.
