Cabinets to compliment bright red range

Hi! I have a bright fire engine red Bertazzoni range and doing a complete remodel. I have seen it paired mostly white cabinets & black or stainless counters in design mags, but DH put the Kibosh on white cabinets. Anyone have ideas for what stain (shaker style contemporary) would compliment a red range?

The best is either white( or near white) or espresso (or very dark) cabinets.

Stains is completely personal preference.

When it comes to design choices, particularly colors your best bet is to post in the Kitchens Forum.

Thanks and you're right on both points. I love the look of contrast and Pop against white or very dark ...but DH disagrees. I did post question in kitchens forum as you suggested and got many helpful replies. Thank you!
