Viking is the big one that comes to mind for an induction cooktop with knobs. Though I normally advise avoiding Viking, induction cooktops all have pretty much all the same components inside, so I don't think it would be that risky.

Downdrafts are inferior to overhead hoods, but better than nothing (or recirculating hoods).

The only one I know of is Viking and reviews are iffy. It also needs a 50 amp breaker. Check your electrical and see what cooktops will work with what you have. Saves a little money if you don't have to upgrade the wiring.

Frigidaire had a hybrid, but I wouldn't waste your money. Radiant hobs would be a big step backwards compared to induction.

I have the touch pad with direct select. I had reservations, but using it is wonderful. You just lay your fingertip on the level you want. Well, 3 times. "On", select hob, select level which takes 3 seconds.

Knobs don't last forever. My mom can only use two of her burners because the pins that her knobs are mounted on sheared off. It's an old oven, but I had never seen that! Good thing she only cooks for two most of the time.

I thought I'd miss knobs, but got over that in about the 3 seconds described above. I like that setting #5 will always be #5. I had to learn to just lay my fingers down and not "press," though!

Oh yeah, we got the Bosch 500 model. I'm sure we don't "need" 5 hobs, but I just like the elbow room it provides, I guess.

Ditto on the knobs. So easy to clean without knobst

I had a 36" Miele in my last house. Not having knobs didn't bother me at all. I'd look more at the burner sizes of the different models.
