Help choosing 30" gas cooktop

I am in the final stages of selecting appliances for a complete kitchen remodel in our on condominium. Have selected

Subzero with French doors
Wolf wall oven
GE advantium microwave hood

I need a gas cook top. The only thing I really care about - as silly as it sounds- is boiling water. (Have had to nix the induction idea unfortunately)

Was thinking about the Bosch with 5 burners ? Does anyone have any opinions? I don't particularly feel like splurging since I am going over budget everywhere .

Thanks in advance for any help advice - this website is incredibly helpful.

If your only real priority is boiling water then you need high btu and a pan wide enough to cover your burners flame pattern.

The Bosch 800 Series is about $1k and has one center power burner rated at 16k btu with a wide flame pattern. Like for boiling water in a large pot for pasta.

Bluestar 30" cooktop is about $1.6k has two $22k btu burners with a fairly tight flame pattern. You can use wide pots for pasta or smaller ones for tea/coffee equally well.
