Summit Refrigerator Owners!

Was planning to purchase a 27.5" wide counterdepth 75" tall bottom freezer by Summit to go in our newly remodeled kitchen. Now reading so many complaints about the constant noise they make.
Called Summit. Not friendly or particularly appropriate customer service. Not reassuring for a pre purchase phone call. Rep actually said, This isn't the refrigerator for you!

Please tell me your experience with your Summit. AND are they quiet?

Rachel - I replied to your email. For everyone else's benefit, I love my Summit and have had no problems since buying it about 5 years ago. Some early reviews complained about noise but it's not been an issue for me. Occasionally there's a kind of crackling sound, but it doesn't last long.
I don't know what complaints you're referring to. Check out the reviews on ajmadison. 85 reviews with an average rating of 4.8 stars.
