Black mold in refrigerator

Does anyone else have a problem with black mold on the gaskets of a GE refrigerator? I can't get it all off, and wondered if there is anything I can do to get GE to fix it. I have never had a problem with a refrigerator doing this. It's creepy. I wonder if it is in my food.

Where is your refrigerator and where do you live? Do you live in a climate where it is damp? I had an extra refrigerator in a dry cool basement and it got mold around the gasket....it appeared the gasket was leaking. I am not sure how to clean the mold, I would try vinegar but it will reappear if the gasket is leaking.

Mold on a refrigerator gasket is not that unusual. Wipe the seals down with a 1/8 cup of bleach to a gallon of warm water. Then just check an keep the door seals clean and free from food spills
