Newgen Dualit toasters

The ancient toaster we had got busted during the move and we are looking for really good toaster that toastes well - evenly browned on the outside and soft in the middle. This is our everyday breakfast and I was looking at the Dualit toasters. They look they have a newgen model. Does anyone have one and would recommend it?

RE: Newgen Dualit toasters

There was a discussion of these some time ago here, but I was unable to find it with a search. I have an old gen Dualit, purchased 27 years ago. It's a bit funky and the wide slots do not actually accommodate bagel halves, but DH would never part with such a robust, all metal, retro appliance. Not familiar with the new ones; sorry. I'll keep searching. In the meantime, here is a bit of information.
