Like the video review. The way the knobs work for regular and simmer is pretty cool.

Barryv: the simmer function is great. I don't have that on my Bertazzoni and it is perfect for doing things like hollandaise.

Very nice video. I have to say though that I miss the dual stack and the semi-open burners of the previous Wolf all gas ranges. I wish they hadn't discontinued those burners.

Sure, I got the range from a company called Sargent appliance, any dealer can get them for you though. They are running right now about $4,200 independent, however I got some money off buying a package of appliances.

One thing I did notice today which might be useful to all of y'all is that the range top itself can be a bit hard to clean if something is spilled on it and left to sit. It's not as easy to clean as my bert all stainless pressed top. There are more nooks and crannies on this range which means it will take a little bit longer to clean. Just a FYI.

How do you like the Wof gas oven? Down to final appliance decision on a new house and was leaning to a Bluestar 36" range, 6 burners and gas oven. Will have an electric oven in the pantry.

we have a 5 year old 48" Wolf range and it has a couple of serious issues that seem to be common according to our service guy.

1. There is a temp sensor that turns the ovens off if it thinks they are overheating....if you try and run the "clean" cycle it shuts them off. Service guy has to pull 800lb oven out and reset or replace the sensor. After 3 service calls at $270 each, Wolf's solution: don't use the clean cycle.

2. The 3 front burners when set at a middle flame self adjust to a low simmer...they creep back to a low setting. Wolf's comment: Well, they just do that as they get older. There is no adjustment on them. You can replace if you like. Seems like a known defect to me which they should take care of in that price range unit. There are other brands to choose from.
