Did your Capital Culinarian come like this?

Only today was I able to turn my range top on - will definitely need some adjustment! Flames were leaping upwards to an alarming degree.

But anyway, even before turning it on, I noticed something with all the burners (6). The middle doohicky does not stick straight up. It leans over until it touches the inner edge of the burner.

Is that typical? It seems weird to me.

Yes, that is the normal position of the igniters.

You definitely do not want the middle doohicky to point straight up. Your whatcamacallits will never light.

Ha ha! Loved that you two. Nice Capital Culinarian range top there, drbeanie. It sparkles!

Ah yes - never mind! I did see that once I looked at it closely.

It doesn't look right. Not at all. It's dusty and unused. ;)
