I'm 5'3", and I have an Elux non-icon Wavetouch double wall oven. The very top of the unit is at about 62.5". I would not want it any higher than this, and lower would have been OK. In the installation instructions from the manufacturer, I'm pretty sure they wanted the bottom of the unit 12" or less from the floor. Did you check the manufacturer's recommendations? I remember that I did because my contractor had initially put the oven about 6" higher, and I frantically did research to see where it should go. I made him lower it, and I'm glad I did. As it is, I have to kind of raise my arms a little to get things out of the top oven. For me, function trumps form, and it's more important to have the oven where you can use it easily than have a symmetrical design. Could the pantry go to the ceiling?
