36" Gas cooktop with griddle option

I've been trying to find a 36" Gas cooktop that has a removable griddle. (where you remove the existing grate and replace it with the griddle when you need it - not a permanent griddle) I can't seem to find one. OR are there griddles that can be set on top of the grates? I've never owned a gas cooktop before, so forgive me if the question seems simplistic!

I don't know of any that have a removable option for the griddle. Most people, like myself, that want that type of option get a griddle to go over the top of two grates.

There are many options out there for what you can use, I personally ended up with an older (1950/60s) cast iron griddle that I just love. There are more modern options out there as well.

    Hope that helps.

Probably a silly question, but where can you purchase a griddle that will fit over the top of two grates. (again, I've never owned a gas stove). Thanks!
