Dacor Refrigerator 48" built in

Posted by Beachpath (My Page) on

Has anyone had any experience with the Dacor refrigerator. I am in process of a remodel, and my appliance salesperson recommended it to me.
However, I have never had a Dacor product, nor know of anyone who
has this refrigerator. I have to make a decision this week, and would
LOVE some feedback! Thanks

RE: Dacor Refrigerator 48" built in

Like KitchenAid and Jenn-Air this Dacor built-in fridge is made by Whirlpool. Mechanically identical to KA. I have not seem them recently but maybe they have slightly different drawers or some other interior bit.

In SS the Dacor is about $100 more and in custom panel about $300 more.

If you like the Dacor handles in the SS version $100 more then go for it.

I don't see any reason for spending $300 more for the custom panel version.

Like the previous post said. This is a dressed up Kitchenaid. The price jump is a bit high but there is a nice instant rebate program going and dacor is better to deal with as a company IMHO. If you like the look & handles go for it.
