My 42" built-in fridge needs to be replaced and I'd prefer to just replace it with a counter-depth model rather than pay big bucks for another built-in. However the widest counter-depth models only seem to be 36".

In addition to the extra capacity that a 42" model would provide, I'm not too keen on having to modify the surrounding cabinetry.

Any suggestions?
