Anyone know of an extra wide counter-depth fridge?

Posted by ms_curious (My Page) on

My 42" built-in fridge needs to be replaced and I'd prefer to just replace it with a counter-depth model rather than pay big bucks for another built-in. However the widest counter-depth models only seem to be 36".

In addition to the extra capacity that a 42" model would provide, I'm not too keen on having to modify the surrounding cabinetry.

Any suggestions?

There are no 42" CD fridges.

If you want to save money you have to take some risk.

Like buying a floor model or out-of-box model.

Thanks @deeageaux. I'll check Ebay, Craigslist and my local appliance stores for floor models/returns.
