| We're now looking at a 30" Wolf ag or df but wondering about the ventilation. I have 30" wide space above our current electric cooktop. I will most likely be getting rid of those little upper cabinets and installing a good range hood so the hood is the 30" above the range. Is the 30" wide enough? Thats' really all we can do without ripping out cabinets!
What else do I need to know about converting from electric to gas? We have a gas t in line by the cooktop and will get a certified gas fitter to install, but what else before we get our (my husbands :) ) hopes up about getting this gas stove? Thanks for looking. |

| If you've got flanking cabinets then a 30" wide hood will be fine. In my opinion, the depth of the hood is more important than the width so that you cover the front burners - get at hood that's at least 24" deep and ideally 27" deep. |
