Help with beverage fridges

Hi! I went into the local appliance store and inquired about beverage fridges. We looked at a few that had wine racks on the bottom and then shelves for soda/beer on the top. I don't think it was a dual zone temperature fridge. The rep made some sort of remark that I'm confused about. I thought he said the beverage fridges with the wine racks only go to about 42/45 degrees as the wine shouldn't be colder than that and therefore the beer gets cold. Does this make sense? Or is it that users don't program it colder because of the wine but beverage fridges can get down to 34 degrees. When we put wine in the fridge, it gets that cold anyway.

Please explain. We were thinking beverage fridge since we don't drink that much wine and also because BFs are less expensive. Not sure if a dual zone bev fridge ends up costing as much as a wine fridge.

Thank you!
