I went round and round on the beverage vs wine fridge dilemma. I feel your pain!

A lot of the combined beverage fridges use the "heat rises" philosophy. So the refrigeration mechanism is in the bottom which is where it is coldest (where you'd want your beer, sodas, etc.) Then, with rows on wine shelves, you put the white on the lower level, red goes at very top level (or not in it at all.) Generally then everything is fairly close to it's recommended temps.

In theory.

It just depends on how much you really care about things being at the ideal temps. My husband likes certain bottled beers that do need to be at 34 degrees. We opted to get a separate beverage only fridge for that bc the white wine just shouldn't be that cold. It's an Electrolux Beverage Center, but we affectionately call it "Dad's Beer Fridge."

We were lucky enough to have a separate butler's pantry/wet bar and so we put a different option there I wanted something that accommodated everything to entertain. It's the U-Line 3000 36" split door fridge. You can set the temperatures yourself for each side. We set the beverage side cooler for white wine and non-alcoholic sodas, sparking water, etc. Then we set the the wine side at 57 degrees for red wine.

It was more than I had wanted to pay but I am so glad I did. I would be frustrated to spend a pretty penny and then still not be happy with how everything is stored.

Anyway, I spent more time that I could believe on beverage centers! good luck in your searches - I know it's tough!
