Bertazzoni Oven Cleaning Advise Needed

Posted by meredithvc (My Page) on

Hi, we just moved into our new house. We now have a Bertazzoni 5 burner non-self cleaning range.

I am excited to see how it works, but when I opened the oven I found a disgusting mess. I was able to clean the inside of the oven but the burnt on splatter on the front glass won't come clean with my regular cleaner (Dr. Bonners both watered down and straight from the bottle).

Does anyone know what will get this clean?

I'd try cold Easy Off. I assume the dirt is on the outside surface of the glass and not between two panes of glass.

Easy Off worked a little. Goo Gone is working better but the fumes are killer. I have spent at least an hour scrubbing and am about 1/3 done.
