| We bought an old 30"x30" tall x 24" deep old, white Vent-a-Hood from the person who sold my daughter an old, white 30" Viking stove. I have replaced the light kit. The two squirrel cage? motors rotate. now I need a 12" white, duct cover since her ceiling is 9' rather than 8'. This part is close to $400. Is it worth it? Could I have a sheet metal person fabricate an extension and then paint it? This is an attractive hood since it is tall but is there another hood in the $400 range which would work just as well or better. This is her first house and her budget is tight. Thanks for all suggestions. |
