We are finally renovating our home due to hurricane sandy. Our whole first floor took a beating. In any case, we are looking at the Whirlpool counter depth side by side refrigerator. I'm stuck with buying this fridge due to the cabinets having been ordered and dimensions for all the appliances are set.

In reading up on this fridge I find people complaining about the ice maker and others loving it. Anyone here have one of these fridges?

I don't have one, but you might get more action if your subject contians the words whirlpool, counter depth, side by side and ice maker
