GE goes retro with new ''Artistry Series''

New retro appliance line coming this fall, with analog clocks on backsplashes, the '50s-'70s General Electric logo, horizontal wraparound handles on bottom-freezer rounded door refrigerators, and just maybe, pastel yellow and pink color options. They're supposed to be relatively low-end affordable offerings as well. I like the fridge and the stove, which certainly look less dreary than most other cheap appliances. It's hard to make a microwave oven look retro, though, and the dishwasher doesn't really try.

You can hang towels on the fridge door!! Awesome.

If they do pastel yellow I might be sold.

They look great. It is wonderful to have a few more options for retro kitchens.

If only they would work like the GE's of the 50's and 70's!
