| " You need to get it installed by a professional. Incorrect installation can result in leaks."
Can anyone explain this statement that I have seen online and got from my salesperson? It's a one piece sealed unit, I leveled it, put into and attached it to the cabinet and hooked it up. It been running fine for 2+ months now, should I expect bad things to happen since it was self installed? |

| No. I installed mine ... uninstalled, moved it to a different house, installed again. Never any trouble with that. Main things are follow the instructions for moisture-proofing the cabinetry cavity, route the drain hoses properly, level it, and anchor the unit correctly with the side and top tabs. |

| Last time I replaced a DW I didn't bother with the installers since I always had to reinstall my previous DDs myself after so-called professionals mucked up the job. YOU read better than the average installer and therefore you are better qualified! |
