Frenchdoor Fridge without external dispenser on door

We're considering purchasing a 22-26 cu.ft French Door refrigerator without external water&ice dispenser. Any comments/suggestions on leading brand refrigerators?

JD Power Samsung best FD fridge last six years.

IMO KitchenAid second best.

I have the Elux and love it - works well and keeps food nice and fresh for much longer than my old fridge.

I was oogling the Samsung but there was a rash of fires at one point (which happened with other fridges as well and I am sure the issue has been resolved), and when I tried putting my platters into the various fridges - the Elux held more that the other brands.

I do recommend testing out the fridges with your stuff to see what works best. I would make sure you get one with a "flapper" vs "seal" closure - both the Samsung and the Elux have the flapper. LG used to just have seals - not sure if that is true anymore.
