Just spent $335.98 to replace the "mother board" in a four year old GE Profile refrigerator - are there any recalls on this part?

Mine died too - approximately 2 weeks ago. I haven't heard of any recall. I know that it may happen with unfortunate regularity too. Luckily this was the first time I had any problems with the refrigerator.

There have been service bulletins for covering the board on some specific models and serial numbers in the past. You don't provide the model, serial, or part number involved on your unit, so there's no reasonable way for anyone here to search-out relevant details. Perhaps you could that yourself. Google can be your friend. :-)

Ok, found out there are no recalls on our Profile refrigerator model PFS22SISBSS - part number WR55X10942.
Bottom freezer door felt very warm and freezer would not stay at zero.
