brand new bosch dishwasher leaking into pan-base

Brand new bosch SHP65T55UC:
I have run this 3 times on the 30 minute express cycle and each time, it leaked into the base and actuated the aqua-stop. I'd say a total of 1/3C water. The third time, I sat and watched. About 22 minutes into the 30 minute cycle, I saw water pooling, coming from the far left corner (facing the door). I felt around all of the hoses and could not find the leak!. It's brand new! My question is, should I consider this a "lemon" and try and return it, or does it make sense to go through service calls and have somebody tear into it. I was hoping I'd find the leak and tighten something, but that wasn't meant to be. I'm looking for some guidance please. I have read the threads about all the ways that these can leak, but it's new.

Appreciate any comments.

I don't have an answer for you, but if I remember correctly from when I installed mine the hose comes already attached to the dishwasher. That means that it should have been tightened correctly at the factory.

thx lain64 - Hoses were tight and no dripping from there!

What does your dealer have to say about it ?

That's who would "take it back" or facilitate Bosch doing so.

Bosch is not likely to take it back with you calling them. They will send out technicians til they think it's fixed or the warranty period expires.

It'll be interesting to see what the prob is, since every unit is pressurized and run in the factory to check for leaks prior to shipping. And, it'd be a rare case for something to work loose to cause a leak. I'd guess your package was mis handled along the way.

I just called lowes and they were very good about it. They will pickup tomorrow and order a new unit as an exchange. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
