what color is behind the door panels on a Sub Zero?

Hey there. Wondering if anyone can tell me what the SubZero doors look like without their insert panels? Is it black or grey or what behind the panels? I have a 532 48"sxs and am thinking about some kind of acrylic panel but wondering what would show through, color-wise?

Hope someone knows this... I hate to take the door apart and I don't think DH will help me right now. (sawing out an old floor)

It may just be bare steel.

I recall them being a primed gray metal, but I could be wrong...

I've searched for a pic of one with the panels off to no avail. May have to slide out a panel and see for myself if no one knows for sure.
