replacing water filter for sub zero BI36U

Just called an appliance repair and they want $$$ just to replace the filter. I was under the impression that the homeowner could replace this filter. Does anyone have experience with this particular filter? Paying $80 for trip charge and another $89 for install-doesn't include the cost of filter!! Really? Can't find anything on line. HELP!

This is a fairly new refrigerator. Owners manual will tell you how.
In the event that you don't have the owners manual, open the grill above the refrigerator, turn the filter 1/4 turn and it removes. Take filter with you to store and replace. Install the filter the opposite way.
This has nothing to do with a repair.

This is extremely easy to replace.

I found plenty within seconds of copying/pasting your own heading into google box. Is there some reason you can't do this? Nothing in the manual?

Update due to new information. If your serial number on your refrigerator is between 4116297 and 4134313, please call SubZero at (800) 222-7820.

1st generation of these refrigerators utilized a push mechanism to attach the filter. This is being phased out and new units are like I mentioned above.
Yours will need to be converted and SubZero will do this at no charge but you need to coordinate through them, not just any service place.
