Chris11895 - are you still here?

I was doing some research on gas ranges the Appliances forum for a remodel of our kitchen on the Cape and came across your earlier posts. It sounds like our needs are really similar. Are you still happy with your 36" Bertazzoni? That is the range I am leaning toward buying. Although we will (thankfully) have some A/C in our kitchen I have also considered doing a gas cooktop and wall oven to avoid standing in front of a hot oven when we are using the oven and the cooktop at the same time. Did you happen to buy your appliances at KAM and, if so, were you happy with them?

Yes, we've had no issues with the Berta and would do it again. In fact, we did! We put it in our year round house when the range went this past winter.
We got the Master series and I don't find it makes the kitchen any hotter than other gas ranges. We ended up getting ours at Kahians as their pricing came in better than KAM. When we received our DW it had a dent that no one noticed until a few days after and they swapped it without question. If you go there (Hanover), ask for Joe Orlando.
I hope that helps!

Wonderful - thanks so much on both fronts. I am excited about the Bertazzoni and about our conversion to gas on the Cape - I am SO done with electric!
