Thermador FD or SZ FD

It looks like we are headed this way. My kitchen will be inset and I'm going for the integrated look. True integration or just looks integrated doesn't bother me.

Can you share your thoughts on either model? My second question is about water. Neither model dispenses water but both have ice makers. If I can't get cold water from the frige where do I get it from....the tap?

If you want fully integrated, then SubZero is the way to go. Use a filter pitcher inside the fridge than you fill up manually or get a chilled water dispenser for a bar sink. Be aware that any of the water dispensers, instant hots, ice makers, et al are energy hogs.

RE: Thermador FD or SZ FD

The SZ FD is a built in model and will have to be installed as a flush inset installation. The FD is not one of their fully integrated models. I'm okay with that.
