Best type of paint & stain for custom range hood?

Hi, everyone.

I'm planning to buy a range hood that can be painted, but I'm concerned about choosing the right kind of paint for it. What type of paint (or paint + sealant/varnish combination?) would stand up to the typical abuse that a range hood has to handle - heat, steam, and grease?

Also, same question goes for the stain and lacquer for the wood trim.

The hood is steel, and the trim is solid wood, not veneer.

Powder coating is the ONLY way to go.

The hood is already powder-coated, but I want to change the color from white to brown, to blend with the cabinets (Ikea Akurum with Orsa birch fronts). Is it possible to powdercoat over a powdercoat? Or would I have to strip the original powdercoat down to the steel?
