Viking Freezer Gasket Mold

Posted by rococogurl (My Page) on

My freezer gets this black stuff in the top and sides of the gasket pleat. I know a Clorox solution is the remedy but the question is what proportion? I don't want to degrade the gasket rubber.

Called the Vike service line yesterday but no human and no callback.

Today's my maintenance day. Anyone else need to deal with this?

You should only use a couple tablespoons to a quart of water. Also add a couple drops of dishwashing soap.
