All I'll say is that Yale's warranty service is leagues ahead of Sears. Home Depot and Lowe's don't have warranty service as far as I know, so you'll be referred to a local authorized servicer by the manufacturer, unless the manufacturer has their own service. Just something to think about. There's a lot to go wrong in an induction range. It's up to you to decide whether it's worth the savings for inferior or unpredictable warranty service.

Yale has an excellent reputation and I believe they have their own service department. That's where I'd go.

It's very helpful to hear such positive things about Yale! I do feel lucky to have them around, and you are both making a great case for ordering from them (and trying to see if I can get some prices matched since Yale doesn't really offer sales.)

You can also play one against the other. We showed Lowes a coupon Sears sent us for 35% off an appliance and they beat it. First I compared the prices and found the original prices to be about the same.

love Yale. great service. bought my range, hood, and dishwasher there. so helpful and responsive, and no trying to upsell.

i did go to best buy for the microwave drawer and fridge.
