Miele Fridge Question

This question is not specific to Miele.

We've had a 30" KFN14943 counter depth fridge for a few months, so far everything seems fine but I have a couple of questions.

The back wall of the fridge is always dripping water and at times the water droplets freeze up. I've been told the water is normal hence the the whole drip system that you see on the wall.

Both Miele and the salesman at the place of purchase said it's normal although the CSR made it seem that "this is what happens early on", they made it seem that this would stop occurring but I'm guessing she didn't know what she was talking about.

Also, what's the ideal temp setting and how much fluctuation is normal from the top shelf to the bottom shelf. I've tested the interior temp with a couple of digital thermometers and it's always fluctuating both from top to bottom and from one hour of the day to the next. Is this normal?

At least my food isn't freezing like it was with my bulky Kitchen Aid fridge.
