| For the last month or so my condenser unit would keep running at times even when I would shut my A/C unit off at the thermostat. I also had issues with the indoor unit blower running even if the temperature was below the set temperature. I installed a new thermostat that appeared to solve my problems. The condenser unit just recently started acting up again occasionally. The new thermostat at least solved the indoor blower issue. |

| It's probably a bad contactor relay. Google it. If that's all it is and you're even slightly handy, they're a cheap part to replace. (Make sure the power is properly disconnected.) |

| They appear to be a fairly generic part which is a good thing as my heat pump is about 25 years old which I would imagine would make it a little more difficult to find model specific parts for. |
