| So I am trying to decide b/w a discontinued Dacor cooktop model Dacor Preference PGM3651: 1-18,000 to 750 BTU Burner, 1-12,500 to 650 BTU Burner, 1-12,500 BTU Burner, 2-9,500 BTU Burners and the Gaggenau- model KG291220CA 36" with 1 (1,000 - 17,000 BTU), 2 (500 - 13,600 BTU), 2 (500 - 6,800 BTU).
I think the Gaggenau is better looking but does anyone know about the difference in performance? They seem to be comparable on paper, but I'm not sure if they're comparable with cooking capabilities. Thoughts? Thanks! |

| I can't speak for the comparables. But we have a 15 year old gas Dacor cook-top that is still going strong. |

| Ditto here with Dacor, but 12 years I think. Not sure about recent GW Dacor customer service though (use GW search if you choose). |
