I'm interested in getting a Thermador microwave drawer, but can't find any reviews on it. Does anyone have one and what do you think?

All microwave drawers are made by Sharp in the USA.

Each brand gets its own door skin.

No reason to pay double for T'dor unless you want to pay $750 to match other T'dor appliances.

On e'bay they have manufacture reconditioned Sharp units for ~$500 and come with 90 day warranty instead of 1 year warranty.

The units are either brand new that were returned because an appliance store purchased too many or something a local tech could not fix when mw was less than year old but manufacture replaced.

I have one and think they are great. They don't warm or cook any differently than any other 1000 w microwave but looks slick built-in vs clutter creating counter top models and ergonomically superior to over the range , under cabinet, or in-cabinet in appliance garage microwaves.

According to my Thermador rep their M/W drawer was re-spec'd to have a shorter front to back depth so they could have a flush fit to the cabinets.
I think the T-Dor is about 19.5 inches deep and the Sharp is 23.5

deeageaux, all of the refurbs I've seen (including the one I just checked on eBay) come with a 30 day warranty, not a 90.
