 o
Wolf L Series Volume Increase?

Posted by applnut (My Page) on

Spending the day trying out of my Wolf L series double ovens and have a question. Is there any way to increase the volume of the timer end signal. It's waaay too quiet to hear if the mixer is going or something else is happening. As I tend to use my oven timer for everything, this is fairly important to me that I be able to actually, you know, hear it.

Checked the manual but found nothing. Thanks in advance for any info you can provide!

I have spoken with Wolf. This can not be done. Which seems very strange, especially given the low volume the timer beeps at and the expense of this oven. Was told it was an improvement coming to the new M-series, due next year.

The cheapest and easiest way would be "To buy an external timer".

Even thou our Elux is plenty loud, and it repeats the beeping if you miss it the first time, or the 2nd, 3rd----etc, Yet even so, the wife prefers her "Wabbit Beeper", go figger??????Maybe because she can put it anywhere, out on the patio, in the "can" , by the TV, etc etc!

Gary, does she use that movable timer for the food in the oven or to "remind" you of things ?

Those locales sound awfully familiar.

She uses it both for the oven, as well as my "Honey Due" list, or is that "Honey Do" ?
