Manual to Electronic Starters? Garland.

I have a Garland (G60-6R24RR) stove that I really want to convert the grill to electronic ignitor.The pilot is so hot that the griddle heats up the kitchen. Nice in the winter. Bad in the summer.
Is there a way to do this? Or even put a shut off valve on the grill side only?
