hood pairing with bluestar 36' cooktop

Will a zephyr roma 42" 600 cfm be sufficient for this 36" cooktop? Would rarely use all 5 burners, want the extra cooktop space for flexibility fitting large pots.

Thanks! otherwise, welcome other suggestions in place of roma////

Billy - when I was looking at BS cooktop or rangetop, I was told minimum 900cfm for the cooktop, but 1200 cfm would be better.

The rule of thumb is to count up the BTUs and divide by 100 to get the cfm rate. If you only use 60000 BTU at most, perhaps you could get away with 600cfm. I wouldn't be happy with that, but I do a lot of high-heating cooking.
