I'm on the hunt for a range hood for my new BlueStar. As I've learned, I've decided I want a deeper 27" hood vs. the usual 24 - 25" options.

My original plan was for a 48" wide hood over my 36" range. However the cabinet design works much better with a 42" hood, or even better at 36" one.

Apart from Wolf, are there any good options for 27" deep hoods? I'm trying to conserve money, so I was considering something like this Broan:

Vent-a-hood make one that looks good however it requires a tall transition piece to go from its dual output ports to the 10" duct we have in our ceiling. It won't fit in our house. We'd have to have something fabricated.
