Hood vent

I am now down to selecting a wall mounted hood vent for my 36" gas cooktop. I would really like to spend max $2000 and am guessing that 600cfm is the place to start. Broan?, Kobe, Wolf, Dacor, anyone?

Ive read enough about Ventahood, so that's probably out. I want to believe I can expect a reasonable power vs. noise level here.

Suggest a more expansive description of the configuration. Room for 42-inch hood? Duct length? Option for exterior or interior in-line fan? Do aesthetics have a higher trade value than performance? Prefer an all-in-one hood?

I can only relate that my Wolf Pro-Island hood is very nicely made. It, however, is not relevant to your quest.
