| I am replacing an OTR microwave and the downdraft Jennair range below it. I am going with a Thermador Pro Harmony Dual fuel because it is and inch and a quarter less deep than the induction range I would have liked. The current range is a drop in and is angled between drawers and cabinets thus the clearance issues. I need 30 inches of clearance to the range hood so have selected the Kobe 30 inch under cabinet RA-038 which is only five inches high and 30 inches wide. It ranges from 330 CFM to 720 and the installer indicates that my current downdraft vent will create enough make up air to allow installation. This range hood is 20 and 1/2 inches deep so it will also allow for top cabinets to open. It is not a deep hood though. The only way I could have one of those would be to remove the cabinets above the range entirely. Do you think this will work? TIA. |
