I have this tea kettle from Breville and I like it enough that I would get another despite the somewhat high price. Features important to me: quick to heat/boil, automatic shut off, easy to clean/descale, attractive design (it sits on counter at all times) DW likes the variable temps for his tea.

I have the one from cuisinart.
Have had a few different brands and before this one were Braun. A good one but had it replaced of a leak.
Rather expencive is the cuisinart but have had it now for over 2 years and still going strong and used about 3-4 times a day.
Paid about 185 dollars when the swedish kronor are 6.5 to the dollor
The best one I ever used.
