It is kind of interesting that the recall was in Feb, and yet this is the first we've heard of it , at least in Garden Web.

This info was from several years ago. Changes have been made to Bluestar's design. Is anyone out there will to weigh in on their experience with the 30" gas wall oven with French doors. Specifically I would like to know about preheat time, fan noise, how evenly it bakes, energy efficiency, and how repair issues have been dealt with.

I have a Bluestar wall oven, but it's the electric kind. I'm very happy with it and see zero reason to go with gas.

Thanks Jerry, I am replacing a gas oven n the same location. Gas is already there, also we live in a remote location, electricity can be unreliable.
