Bosch "speed microwave" == Advantium?

Is the new(-ish) Bosch "speed microwave" the same thing as an Advantium?

I see in the specs it mentions having a 1750watt broiler, in addition to the microwave and convection fan, plus some "AutoChef" feature.

Is this functionally equivalent to an Advantium?

If pricing were equal, would you go Advantium or Bosch?

It's interesting what you find out reading the manual.

This Bosch is similar to, but is not the same as the Advantium. Yes, it has both an upper and lower heating element just like the Advantium. But it does not have the Advantiums flexibility of setting the different power levels of each element and microwave for a given dish.

But for some folks, that might actually be an advantage.

The Advantium has many (170+?) 'recipes' that have default settings for food types that use combinations of broil, convection and microwave. These can be changed by the user. The Bosch seems to have recipes, but they are not changeable or don't seem to be.

Both the Bosch and GE come in 120v versions. The Bosch manual does not describe the differences since you can't use the all the elements at the same time as you can with the 240v models.

I'd heard that the Advantium was going away but that might have just been certain models. I think they cost a bit more than the Bosch.
