A local appliance store is going out of business and has a brand new, in the box DCS for just over $6,000.
I mentioned in another thread that I make a lot of sauces so I need a good simmer, but also do some water canning in the fall and need a large, hot fire, too.
This particular range has 5 burners, one large one in the middle surrounded by 4 smaller ones. So that would come in handy for canning.
Just looking for any input from anyone who has this range or who has worked with DCS. I was considering a Wolf or Thermador (mostly because of their 1, 2, free deal). I had a Thermador and wasn't in love with my cooktop or oven so I'm a little gun-shy with them now.
