Bosch service reputation?

Does anyone have any pro/con experiences to share regarding Bosch reliability and service?

Someone recently recounted a story of a faulty oven, requiring multiple repairs, Bosch unresponsive/unwilling to replace, a ruined holiday dinner, yada yada yada.

I'm betting there's a similar experience out there for nearly any manufacturer.

Does Bosch have a "reputation" one way or the other regarding reliability and service?

When I was dealing with my local appliance store to resolve issues service was ROTTEN. I cant even begin to say how terrible and we had to use them since thats where we purchased the appliances. When I reached out to Bosch myself service was stellar. They went above and beyond fixing and replacing what was wrong. I have read many complaints about them but I can say I never had one bad issue with their Customer service when I was dealing with them. Know the store you purchase from and their service history.
