Bluestar Range - Oven door alignment

| Not a heat related issue - I love the range and my children know that it gets hot. But as for the main door on a 48" Bluestar do the following pictures say that there is a problem with the door? (The movers did not use it as a lifting point.
And the following dumped out of the simmer burner... I am completely ok with it since I know what it is - I just thought I should note it.

| Nora: I had that exact same issue one time after puting my range back together after cleaning it. It was really simple to fix but I honestly don't remember what I did. I think I either took the door off and put it back on or I simply pushed on the top (or was it the bottom near the hinge?). And it went back into its proper seating. Hope that info helps. |

| What dumped out of the simmer burner? |

| Looks like beads from bead blasting or more likely, tumbling/ barrel finishing. |

| Concerning the beads, I think Alexr is right about it in one-way or another. They are basically leftovers from the manufacturing process. I should have taken a better shot so I did :)

| TyGuy - We tried taking off the door and re-attaching it, pushing the bottom and the top to no avail... (not hard mind you). The misalignment persists. I turned off all of the lights in the kitchen and tossed a couple of flashlights into the main oven to see if it seals correctly and I was only able to see a pin-prick of light here or there. Do you think I should contact anyone about it? |

| I would have someone take a look at it. |
RE: Bluestar Range - Oven door alignment

| Absolutely! Even a pin prick will let a lot of heat out. Plus it doesn't look good and just "isn't right". |
